QuestionManifest creation issue

    Hello,

I have a win32 application that I am trying to create a manifest for.  In Visual studio if I enable "manifest generation", I get an error "cannot xecute the specified program".  If I remvoe the manifest generation, the application launches successfully.

I am able to open the exe in VS and I see RT_MANFIEST entry.  The "text" looks fine.  I have pruned down the manfiest and do not have any assembly/dependencies specified.  Any pointers on what the issue could be?  Or what I could try?

    Thanks

    Sailesh
