The v1.2 power tools insist that it installed it, and all the MS blogs are talking about it, but unfortunately I haven’t found it yet; how can I access that from VS.NET?

Firstly, you will need to install the DSL Tools before installing Power Tools v1.2.

After installing Power Tools v1.2, the Process Editor menu item can be found inside the Visual Studio development environment after connecting to the Team Foundation Server.

Visual Studio   |   Team   |   Process Editor

The user guide "PEUserGuide.doc" of Process Editor can be found under the Microsoft Team Foundation Power Tools program group. The user guide contains detailed instructions on how to use Process Editor.

Start   >>   Program   >>   Microsoft Team Foundation Power Tools   >>   Microsoft Visual Studio Team System Process Editor   >>   PEUserGuide.doc

I managed to install it this time, but there is a new problem

I opened a work item, and I went to the workflow tab.

When I click to expand the “transition” box, it takes the entire CPU to a 100% for 4 seconds, and then expands it or collapses it.

    Is that normal?

No, that's pretty wierd. No mention of it on the DSL Tools forum that I can see either.

Is it still persisting? (I'm hoping that restarting might have fixed it.)
