Answertime out error while starting notification service in SQL Server 2005

    Hi,

       I am trying to start my notification service.

    but when I try to start the service it gives following error.

    I am using Sql Server 2005 on Windows Server 2003

     

     

    Windows services for instance - Rahul

    - Starting NS$Rahul on nav-server (Error)

    Messages

    Time out has expired and the operation has not been completed. (System.ServiceProcess)

     

     

    Please Help me out

    This is frequently permissions related. Try the resolutions suggested in this document.
