Benefit of using Exchnage server 2010 with Share point server 2010

What will be the advantage of using Exchange Server 2010 with share point server 2010 ? second is it nessary to purchase the seperate domain for Share point site ? we already got the fixed IP address for Share point server

My company need clarification regarding the above things please share the ideas

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by purchasing the separate domain? Can you explain a bit about the purpose of the farm and what you are trying to accomplish? It sounds to me that maybe you are trying to host SharePoint for users outside your network. Is this correct?

Yes you are correct i want to host the share point for users who will access the system on intranet and as well as internet

Second what will be the benefit of using the exchange server for share point web application?

What about the Domain we already purchased the Fixed IP address for share point hosting server may we need the domain?
