SharePoint 2010 licensing Type

we need to know which licensing type is required for following.

SharePoint 2010 Enterprise for Hosting companies (hosting purposes) MSDN, Volume License, Retail, SPLA etc

Offering SP 2010 server as hosted solution.

my dear i think my question was not cleard.

my question was e want to offer sharepoint 2010 server as a gisted solution. which licensing type do we need.

is msdn sbuscription key is ok? or VL or retail or SPLA etc..........

for these external users you would be needing sharepoint 2010 for external users, internet sites. In this case you would not be needing CALs if the content is for External Users (hosted model) however if the content if for Internal Users as well then you would be needing CALs based upon per user / per device what ever the case you decide. In any case you can't use MSDN Subs for this as that is only for the testing and evaluation / PoC purpose. You are required to make purchase of SharePoint 2010 Internet Sites Standard / Enterprise as per req.
