cannot login to my new Web Application > Site Collection

Question

Hi friends,

I have a problem with SharePoint 2010 in my virtual machine.After I created a sitecollection I cannot login to it.Also something I'm not sure about the IP I should enter in the DNS > Add New Host is it the same machine IP or the Domain Controller IP? I tried both I used ipconfig /flushDNS after each time I changed the Host IP settings.However I cannot login to my new Web Application>Root Site Collection at all.I checked the SiteCollection Administrator and I found it correct SP_Admin so what could cause that problem? Is there some thing else I should do or check?

Can you check that you have added the "DisableLoopbackCheck" into the registry of your VM. Other than that, add your account at the web application polkicy level as full control and try it again.
