SharePoint 2010 User Profile

Hi All,

I am doing user profile migration from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2010. please see the below process

• Created user profiles in MOSS 2007.
• Taken a database backup
• Restored to SharePoint 2010
• All the users profiles imported sucessfully

Issues:

I have created a custom property called "favorite drink" form user profile and properties page, sucessfully created. I have enter value like "Sprite" for two to three user and clicked on save button.

When i check my site profile page the property is showing up like favoritedrink Sprite but with out link (getting displayed as readonly). When i check the same in MOSS 2007 custom properties. i am getting there link to "Sprite" and when i click on that it is redirecting to everyone page where all the users whose favoritedrink is Sprite.

I want the same to be in SharePoint 2010. can some one please help me?

Hi Mohammed,

Please check the profile property type mapped in user profile service.
