    I have followed the directions to create QL Menu flyouts succesfully on several of my Web Apps Subsites (Enterprise Server Publishing sites). We have our own master which was based on the V4.master. The issue I have encountered is that we want the same ability to be available on out Foundation based team sites but when we go to the team site settings and select the company master with flyouts we do not get the flyouts. My question is don't the Team Sites (Foundation based) not use the same master?

    Its not the master page, its what is provided by the navigation provider.  Many of the non-publishing navigation providers don't provide the additional levels of navigation information that is normally displayed as flyouts.  If the nodes aren't supplied then they can't be displayed.
