sharepoint predictive search

Question

Is there any out of box feature available in sharepoint 2010 where the predictive search(or instant search) can be turned on or off in fast or enterprsie search,or should this feature be added to search using any customization?

There is no solution out of the box, in either products.

You can look at http://sharepointinstant.codeplex.com and see if it fits you. I haven't tried it myself.

The only other option I see, is implementing it yourself.
