share point metadata is structured hierachially.

I want to add some info to the term.

if metadata structured how can I add that info?

    for example

    Term set : Subject

    term : Computer, programming, C#,

I want to add subject code like (Co for computer, Prg for Programming, Csh for c#).

    any ideas?

there is a synonym feature for each tag. I would recommend using that so that either term could be used for the same value. If you highlight a tag in the metadata store , you will see the place for synonyms on the right hand side of the screen.

Have you ever noticed that there isn't another word for synonym?

    Hi,

Refer to "Specify synonyms for a term" section in this article:
