    Hello my friends,

I am working on a site where the user has Full Control on a Sub-site and is trying to access the "Checked Out to Me" under the Site Action>Site Settings>Content and Structure interface. The issue the user is having is that they can not take the view off the Default View into the "Checked Out to Me" view. This opinion is not working and stays on the default view. Is there a way to turn this opinion without changing the permissions on the parent or destroying the sub-site. Thank you for your help!

    .

    Hello,

I tried this in my farm and got the same results, it looks like OOB the publishing feature for the SITE(not the site collection) is not turned on OOB, check the site features and make sure that this is enabled. otherwise try to disable/enable these features, try the UI and if not try the below command:

    stsadm-o activatefeature -filename publishingSite\feature.xml -url http://URL -force

not sure if this is right, but based on your screenshot, you havent selected any lists or libraries. I am wondering if you selected an actual library, that the checked out to me view might work.

    Hi,

Can you switch to the Checked out to me view in Site Content and Structure if you sign in the site as administrator?

Actually, the users need to have at least contribute permission to the site in order to use manage site content and structures to see the files checked out to them. Have you tried Considine88’s suggestions to disable and then re-enble the site Publishing feature?

If the problem persists after re-enabling the Publishing feature, please check in ULS log for detailed errors.

For SharePoint 2010, by default, ULS log is at

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS

You can check the ULS log by the methods here:
