How to add a BCS BusinessDataFieldControl to a page

I'm working on a page that will be used to create a Document Set and  a word Document(using openxml) using data entered on the page. One of the fileds I need is in an External List. How can i add an "external  item picker' to a custom page?

I found it. I needed to use an ItemPicjkr , not a BusinessDataFieldControl
