Hi,
How do i need to alert the endusers to save the data when they leave page by accessing any link in the page.

Hi.
If the users are editing a page, then they will be reminded to save the changes with an OK/Cancel dialog, even if trying to leave the page using a link. If the link opens in a new page, then I guess that you don't get the prompt at that time.
