hi all,<o:p></o:p>
i have sharepoint foundation server2010 installed on windows server 2008<o:p></o:p>
I create I vacation request workflow on sharepoint 2010 using SPD<o:p></o:p>
One of the column is :<o:p></o:p>
Username and Manager,
Is their a way to lite the system take the Username automatically from the login account and to take the manager automatically from the active directory?<o:p></o:p>
Note : all the users who log on the portal are members of my AD domain<o:p></o:p>

If you would use InfoPath you can get the user-profile-information from the 'User Profile Service Web service'

He has Foundation, so that won't work.
There is an action in SharePoint Designer that let's you load the user's manager.
