Changing default settings for "Activities I am following"

Question

Hi,

In SP2010 mySites  bye default all the properties under "Activities I am following" in edit profile page are marked as cheked/selected.

Is it possible to -

1) Delete some of those specifically so that only those do not appear in the edit profile page for person.

2) Can we uncheck some of those by default. (Out of box all those are checked.)
