Migrate a 2007 List with BDC connections to a 2010 List with BCS

Question

I have a list with several custom columns which were populated by a BDC model in SharePoint 2007. I have upgraded the site to 2010. The BDC model has been re-created as a BCS External content type in 2010. Is there any way at all to salvage the 2007 list ? I have found not way to point it to the new BCS or even export the values into something else. I am sure someone has run into this issue while upgrading.

Hi,

Have you tried opening it in SharePoint Designer to make changes? How was the list created?
