File attachment in Infopath form

Question

I have a infopath form 2010 (blank design form) with file attachment and the user can attach the file. After the user attaches the file, the file can be downloaded, removed and attached. Why is there no option to open the file attachment when the form is submitted to the document library.

That is by default. You have to open the form to open the included attachment. I don't believe there is an option to see the attachment in the library as metadata.
