Unanswered Full Control & Site Collection admin but site showing ''Access Denied''

I have a site using some performance point dashboards where I am the site collection administrator and also have full control permissions.

The site is using Kerberos authentication and has been working fine for a number of weeks, however now when trying to view a page with a dashboard I am getting the ''Error: Access Denied'' Error.

As I have said I have the above permissions on the site and I also have sufficient permissions on the database and SSAS cube so it seems strange that this error has cropped up.

I have checked that the the database is not read only along with the site itself and all are fine, can anyone suggest what might be wrong here? or what may have happened to cause this as there have been no configuration changes since the implementation of the site.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, the platform is SharePoint 2010 SP1 !

You have any other customizations on the site such as custom branding.  I have seen cases where there is issue in code that prevents users from logging in.  You might try resetting your master page on the site to v4.master and see if it makes a difference.

    Thanks for your response,

I have no further customization on the site, I have reset the master pages and also the master page permissions but the issues persists still -

I will continue to investigate but any other tips are welcomed !

Did you recently set up the superReader and superUser profiles for caching?  if not done correctly it will cause a similar access denied error.

No there are no new profiles for user caching, I will check existing settings for this to ensure it is correct though
