Renaming the server and central management page

I have a stand alone server part of workgroup and i made a successful installation for share point 2010, my question is if i rename the server will the central management page be effected ? or the link will automatically shows the new name or i will get an error that the page is not found ?

I would run the SharePoint Configuration Wizard and disconnect from the configuration database and then run it again and reconnect. to the configuration database. Crossing your fingers wouldn't hurt either.

ok since it idnt install managment studio for sql when i run the configuration server again to connect to database how can i know its name ?

also i have another question, do you think its better to install sql express 2008 r2 then share-point 2010 ? is sql 2008 R2 better than sql 2008 ?
