Discussion board reply button

Question

Hi friends,

We have a requirement wherein, we need to have a comments section below an article in a page.  Therefore, I created a new discussion board (because of the reply button function it has) and then, brought the board as a webpart in the page, but, how do i achieve the functionality of directly replying from the webpart, which is possible from the board itself (screenshot below)?



Currently, after adding the webpart, I am getting the display as below:

the reply-link is part of the view in de discussion list

if you need to collect comments a site based on the blog-template might be a solution

Hi, Thanks for your answer Sjoerd, this is the Flat view in the discussion board.  Is there a way to get this 'Flat' view in the webpart also?
