I want to create a simple Social Network by SharePoint 2010 and I want to use Lync Server 2010 capabilities to providing chat and connectivity experience for Users and Profile Syncronization, On the other hand I want to need to provide Form Base Authentication to avoiding enter domain name before username (ex. Domain_name\username) in login.

Is there one of following Solution or other?

    • Map the Ldap User to Windows User for using Lync Status availibility.
    • Create custom Windows Authentication Login Form without configuring FBA LDAP

I'm not aware of any way to map the LDAP user to a windows authenticated user.  But if the workstations that your users are logging in from are members of the same domain as SharePoint then you shouldn't need to enter the domain name to user the regular windows login.  If they aren't members of the same domain then there is no way that I know of to avoid entering the domain name as part of the login.

There is no login form for AD users.  They receive an auth dialog box for which there is no customization (as the dialog box is client side, not server side).
