Answered Sandbox Services in SP 2010

    Hi

    We plan to use sand box solution in sharepoint environment

    Can enble, the Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Sandboxed Code Service in WFE&App Servers or only app servers.

    i guess, any one of SharePoint Server is must(If use Sanbox code to famr) and other servers is optional am i right ?

    Details --> we have 2 wfe ,2 app and 1 sql cluster. can u tel me which server is need sanbox service (during failover also, mean app1 down)

    I usually have the sandboxed code service running on the web front end servers.

    However the article at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee539417.aspx states:

    "The server that is running the SharePoint Foundation Sandboxed Code Service can be, but does not have to be, the front-end web server on which the IIS worker process is running. "
