Hi there.
I am having problems running reports from Performance Point in SharePoint 2010 after migrating a WebApplication to Claims Authentication. When I try to execute a report the following error occurs:
- Report Server has encountered a SharePoint error. (rsSharePointError). T
-
he security validation for this page is invalid. Click Back in your Web browser,
refresh the page, and try your operation again
If I do not use Performance Point and only use the SSRS ReportViewer Webpart it works and I do not get this error. I have searched all over for a solution but could not find any that worked for me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

I have tried creating and setting up a new Performance Point application with no luck. If I do not use Performance Point and only use the SSRS ReportViewer Webpart it works and I do not get this error. I have searched all over for a solution but could not find any that worked for me.

Hi,
In PerformancePoint Services, you can choose between three methods for data source authentication. Each of them require additional configuration.
- Per user identity
- Unattended Service Account
- Custom Data
Which one did you use? In addition, please look into ULS log for more information.
If you choose the first one, it requires Kerberos delegation. You must configure the Kerberos delegation between PerformancePoint Services and the data sources.
For more information about plan for PerformancePoint Services security, check out the following article:

Hi Rock.
My PerformancePoint sercives was configured correctly, turned out that after my migration I also had to install some updates for SharePoint. Refer to the link below for the updates made to the PerformancePoint service recently.
