    Hello Community

There is something I am not sure if Sharpoint 2010  allows but
I can't put it in the form of a question without creating a scenario first
    and it goes like this:

UserA types in the url of a web page and the web page comes up in the browser.

Then UserA types some text somewhere, for example -->  "knock knock".

Then UserA uploads this text onto the page.

Next UserB types in the same url and looks on the same page and sees the "knock knock"
text that was previously entered by UserA and decides to type some text of his own as a response
    for example --> "Who's there?".

Then UserB upload his text onto the same page that UserA uploaded his text onto.

Finally UserC comes along and types in the url of the same page that UserA and UserB uploaded
their text onto and looks and sees both of their text entries on the page as:

          "knock knock"

          "Who's there"

I know that Sharepoint 2010 allows users to upload "text files" like shared documents
onto pages but does Sharepoint 2010 have a feature that allows users to upload "typed text"
onto a page as described above so that people can see what they post without opening
    a file to see it?

        Thank you
        Shabeaut

    Hi Shabeaut,

From your description, it sounds as if you wish to have a threaded discussion list. Once created, clicking the list will give you the threaded view you are looking for, I believe.

    Hope this helps

You could also acheive the same result by adding the "Note Board" web part to your page.  Notes are then shown in order of writing with the date/time and user details.
