AnswerWhat's the status of SLPS?

    Hi all,
I've read on a couple of forums that SLPS is being shut down by Microsoft.  Is this actually true or is there some 'reorganization' going on?  Is that why it is not possible to place an order for SLPS any more?

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

It is true that SLPS is temporarily not taking on any new customers but not sure about anything beyond that. I'll pass along any news I hear when available.

    Hi Hugo,
thanks for responding, but I must say that it's a bit of a 'non answer'.  Is SLPS a going concern or not?

    Thanks!

As far as I've heard it's being discontinued, and the developers are moved to other projects. Bummer.

Any chance of a Permutation generation utility for the Protector part of the package.  Assembly Protection is something that has been lacking in .NET, and the "P" in SLPS did a great job of filling that void.

Let me clarify something here.  SLP Service is still active.  Current customers are still using the Service and support.  In addition, if you are interested in doing an evaluation, please email slpsinfo@microsoft.com
