    Hi Afrigene,

There has been some discussion about this already on the forum.  Here is a post that has a work-around on it that may help your situation.

Finally figured this one out. It took a while. Here is what was causing my problem:

I have a LiveID that is not associated with Office Live. This LiveID was associated with my Windows account.

To check which Live ID is currently associated with your Windows account:

    - Open Control Panel | User Accounts

    - Click on your Windows account

    - Click the "Change my .NET Password" link

The resulting dialog shows which LiveID is currently associated with you Windows account. If this is NOT your Office Live ID

    - Click "Use a Different Passport"

    - Go through the wizard to select your Office Live ID

    That did it for me!

After looking further into this issue, I found that I am able to access my web site folder with IE6. This seems to be an issue with IE7. Has anyone been able to access their web site folder with IE7?

Thanks Afrigene!  We've seen similar problems when connecting to Office LIve using the Office client apps such as Word or SharePoint Designer.  Sometimes these apps will cache your Live ID and associate it to your windows account. Then it attempts to automatically use the same credentials again and again.  This is great, unless like you, you have multiple Live IDs.

You can see a discussion of that related problem here, but this is the first time anyone has identified this *also* as a problem for Web Folders.  If I had a gold star to give you, you'd get one!

    Thanks,

    Chris

Still looking for the answer to this. I`ve followed all the instrcutions I can find to no avail.

I`m on Windows XP SP2, I`ve downloaded all the updates for that, Was running IE 7 and upgraded to IE8 beta to see if that worked but it didn`t .NET 3.5. Only have 1 user account and it`s all the same as my Office Live etc.

The only thing I can think of is that I don`t have Microsoft office installed on the PC, would that make any difference ?

It`s probably something really simple but I just cant get MOLWFC (web folder connector) to install, anyone have any suggestions ?
