Expression Media/IView/Capture One???

Anita,
I have been anxiously awaiting updating on this dam ( ;) ) software for quite a while. Well...after years of waiting to see what IView was going to be turned into with Microsoft's hands in it. We all saw it dropped from the Expression Suite only to reappear (hopefully) in the Pro Photography section of Microsoft's portfolio. When nothing happened after that, I eventually stopped checking. I know that you have been the common thread throughout most of these, even despite your surgery, etc. I finally checked back to see what was going on with Expression and now see that there is a strategic partnership with Phase One. First of all, I am glad to see SOMETHING is going on and this product hasn't fallen by the wayside. Nonetheless, those of us who stayed true and didn't go to Extensis, or Adobe products should have had more than 30 days to hear about this free Capture One offer. I saw that and thought, finally microsoft (and I suppose Phase One) are taking care of their loyal fan base...for years of patience. Yeah, well then I realized this had expired and I, a registered user of Expression Media, did not hear about it. Is there a way to get that license???? Or do I finally, angrily go with Adobe or Extensis after this bittersweet revelation? Thanks.....

Hi ImagerySmith,
I understand and sympathize, but the 30-day timeframe wasn't set by Microsoft. That was set by Phase One, and nobody at Microsoft has the authority to extend that for you. I suggest contacting Phase One. Their support page is at http://www.phaseone.com/supportmain.aspx. They have technical support as well as a forum, but you can find all of your options on that page.
