Recording times....

Question

I have a copy of both the free downloadable Encoder and the Expression Studio 4 Web Professional.  I know that the free version of Encoder sets the limit to 10 minutes when doing a screen record.  I have not installed the Studio 4, but wanted to see if the screen record is any longer with the Encoder that is included with it.

If it is at 10 minutes, which product would allow the screen recording to go longer?  I have no earthly idea about the Codecs thing...... I have seen the word, but no nothing about what it refers to.

Hi rjfoster,

You can record longer screen recordings with Expression Encoder Pro, which you would need to purchase separately.

Expression Web Professional includes Encoder, but not Encoder Pro.
