Screen Capture using Expression Encoder 4 SP1 generate black video

I am trying to capture a video of me using an MFC application (no directx) with Expression Encoder 4 Screen Capture SP1 on Windows Vista.
When I capture, its generates a xesc file with only black visual. The actual screen was not captured. (but the audio was captured correctly). I have tried several capture sizes or regions on the application with no success.
I was able to capture my application once, but I was not able to re-do it again:
- I started the capture on my browser (which occupied about 50% of the screen), then switched application to the other application I want to capture. I was then able to see my application captured once. But every other time I re-tried it failed to capture anything (just black).
On a different computer (also vista), I was able to successfully capture my application with no problem.
Would help me troubleshoot this bug?

so are you saying that the same time it was good and then it started to capture black? It's strange. Playback in both Encoder and Windows Media Player shows black?
Try update your video card driver and try again. And could you please let me know what is the video card and is it a x86 or x64 system?
Thanks.

Wednesday, June 08, 2011 4:47 AMI have exactly the same problem. The software worked fine but a few days later, it started recording just a black screen and it records only audio. I have uninstalled all the software and the .NET Framework but it did not make any difference. All I tried did not help. I even installed the trial Pro version, but I still have the same problem. I guess, there must have been some upgrade installed on my PC which is not compatible. I have Windows XP. My other desktop has Windows 7 and it still works fine. Anyway, any ideas appreciated. Thank you.
