I have installed the G2M (GoToMeeting) codec onto my computer, but Expression 4 keeps telling me  "Error: Missing G2M4 file codec" when I try to import these video files. I know that I successfully installed the codec, because previously Windows Media player couldn't open the videos, but now they can. How do I go about fixing this problem?

    Thanks!

Likely that the G2M4 codec isn't DShow-based, but MediaFoundation-based. WMP12 supports MF codecs, but not Expression Encoder 4. Note that G2M3 seems to be supported in EE4, mainly because it's got a DShow codec wrapper.

If you don't see a G2M4 codec listed in the Compatiblity list in the Options dialog, EE4Pro won't be able to support it. You could contact GoToMeeting to request if/when they would provide a DShow-based codec for their G2M4 format to enable your scenario.

I don't understand how there are all these how to videos online that show people using EE4 to convert the files.. or why GoToMeeting's website links me to download Microsoft encoder. Thanks for your help, I guess I will have to contact GoToMeeting.

FWIW, from what I saw, all the videos I've found were discussing about files containing G2M3 streams, not G2M4.
