Question Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 Codec Not Recognized

    Hi everyone, I have a question about the Codec for the Expression Encoder 4 Screen Capture Codec. When I record a video, I try to watch it and it says I don't have the codec. I tried to install it from your website and it says I already have it. What is going on and how do I fix it?

    What application are you using to view the file? It should preview in Expression Encoder, or play directly in Windows Media Player 11 (Vista) or WMP12 (Win7).

    The screen capture videos are saved in an intermediate format. Use EE4 to transcode the captured files to VC-1 WMV or H.264 MP4 to view in other video players.
