Windows 8 and Live Smooth Streaming

Question

We are having issues with Windows 8 Live Smooth Streaming with Silverlight 5

We are using one of the stock players from Expression Encoder. Our live smooth streaming is working with, XP, Vista and Win 7 but when running in any browser on Windows 8 the stream runs for 10 to 20 seconds and then stops. And Silverlight won't run in the Metro IE client at all.

What is going on I have customers screaming and I don't know what to do. I can't find anything on this topic anywhere.

Please help.
