PSD File Import Errors

Question

Its my understanding Expressions Design does not import PSD files above a certain file size.  Can anyone confirm this to be true? And if so, what is the size limit? If there are other reasons why PSD files fail to import properly (the generic error message does not provide detail as to the cause, so its my guess).
