How to Create a Linear Gauge

Question

Hello everyone,

I need to create a linear gauge as shown in the image below.

The yellow zones and the scale values display should be set as properties.

Any ideas on how to be able to do this? Please help..

Hello Mickey.

One possible solution would be to edit a slider template.  Another would be to create a custom control.

I played with it a bit and came up with a sample which I uploaded to my SkyDrive.  http://sdrv.ms/R8jlu6  I named it ScaleMeterWPF.  Perhaps it will give you some ideas.

I got to fiddlin' with it while watching the election last night and changed a good bit to make it more useful and customizable.
