Blend 5 New Project Menu Blank

Question

For some reason I can't create a new project in Blend 5. When I try, there's only a blank list of project types to choose from. Even the language drop down is blank. I'm currently using Windows 7 and Blend 5.0.31017.0.

Are you opening Blend for Visual Studio 2012? That version only supports developing windows 8 apps, which you can't do on Windows 7. 

There is a preview version that supports WPF/SL as well:
