Are all gallery extensions secure?

Hi,

I would like to know about the security of third-party extensions in Visual Studio Gallery:

1. Are all they ad-ware free?
2. Are they all spy-ware free? Is it possible that some of them upload user disk content surreptitiously into a remote server?
3. Do they all comply with some securtiy policy?

One one side, they are all put on Microsoft domain and are linked under Visual Studio Gallery; on the other side, they are developed by third-parties. Therefore, does Microsoft endorse the security of these extensions or not? Can I be assured that they will not violate my privacy?
