VS 2012 RC Doesn't have the Javascript Template. Where can I download it?

Question

I got this new book "Metro Revealed - HTML5 and Javascript"... The author uses VS 2011. It calls for a Javascript Project Template.

VS 2012 RC doesn't have that project type listed for new projects... I can't seem to find anything on this site which will let me download it... Does anyone know where I can find it?

Hi Robert,

are you able to see any of the Metro-style templates in VS 2012 RC (for example the ones for C#)? If not, are you running VS on a Windows 8 device? Another reason could be that there's something wrong with your VS installation.

I have this directory:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\Common7\IDE\ProjectTemplates\CSharp\Windows Metro style

Be sure you are running your vs on win8 os, orelse you will not see it.
