    Hi Mousumi1,

Have you opened the workbook in a earlier version of PowerPivot, if so you cannot refresh newer version workbooks on a SQL Server 2008 R2 instance of PowerPivot for SharePoint. As SQL Server 2008 R2 PowerPivot workbooks reference MSOLAP.4, Microsoft SQL Server 2012 add-in will refer MSOLAP.5.  A SQL Server 2008 R2 instance will not process a workbook that you created in the Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Release Candidate 0 (RC 0) version of PowerPivot for Excel.

This is the same error message in this thread you can get some reference from this http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sqlkjpowerpointforsharepoint/thread/ef5c4016-148d-4aa5-b981-ee9720ce4d8c

    Thanks,
