Multiple DBA's rotating schedule

2012年3月2日 上午 04:25We have 3 DBA's that we want to put on a rotating schedule. What is the best way to setup a operator without having to change it all the time. They are going to rotate on month long schedules.

Alan,
Probably the easiest way is to setup an operator such as DBA_On_Call. Have that be assocaited with a distribution group for whatever your email infrastructure is, and then change the users in that group based on who is on call that week. This way you can put in pager numbers, emails, etc, without having ot reconfigure database mail.
