Outgoing Email setting SharePoint...cloud based exchange

Our mail server is based on cloud as shown given below.
abc1020.MAILBOX.OUTLOOK.COM
When i m trying to put in SMTP outgoing email setting this is not working. Any idea?

Take a look the the logs to get more detailed error. SharePoint only works with non-authenticated SMTP on port 25. If your scenario is different from this standard you can check this article http://www.sharepoint101.co.uk/Blog/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=19.
