URL Rewrite - dynamically generate rewrite maps?

Question

Hi,

Is it possible to dynamically generate rewrite maps?  I have hundreds of products in my product catalogue so it isn't feasible to add a key/value pair for each possibility.

 e.g. www.somedomain.com/products.aspx?id=1 should rewrite to www.somedomain.com/products/fitness

Or is there a better way of handling this?

Hi David,

I'm trying to figure out where this is best addressed - could you please give us a bit more info about what you are trying to do here?  WHere are you doing your mapping?  Is this related to Application Request Routing?
