  The Windows Server 2003 Logo Program for hardware will no longer accept system submissions after December 31, 2009. The program will continue to accept device submissions after December 31, 2009.

You can use Winqual to: Submit test packages for the Windows Logo Program View your company's Windows Error Reporting (WER) statistics Coordinate activities for distributing drivers on Windows Update Find all legal documents with descriptions LogoPoint is an application designed to coordinate your activities for viewing Windows Logo Program requirements and providing feedback. To use LogoPoint, you need a Winqual account and Internet Explorer v. 6.0 or later. To get started with Winqual Obtain a VeriSign ID. Establish a Winqual account. To get started with LogoPoint Log on to the Winqual Member's section using your User Name and Password. On the left menu, click LogoPoint Home under Logo Requirements.   Windows Logo Kit 1.4 QFE 025 Is Now Available on Connect

  
  

  QFE 025 for Windows Logo Kit (WLK) 1.4 is now available for download on the WLK Connect site (https://connect.microsoft.com/site/sitehome.aspx?SiteID=668). Windows Logo Kit 1.4 QFE 025 solves a signed driver check problem with filter drivers. This fix involves drivers with no associated Device ID.
  
  This QFE incorporates the fixes in QFE 004 and QFE 011.
  
  Notes:
  . This QFE is required only for system submissions.
  . This QFE is for use with WLK 1.4 RTM (version 1.4.7100.xxx).
  . This fix supersedes QFE 011. Users should uninstall QFE 011 and only install QFE 025 for filter drivers and any other drivers that have no associated Device ID.

  Revised Policy: Submissions Must Use Windows Vista Service Pack 2 Beginning March 3, 2010

  We previously announced that effective August 17, 2009, all Windows Vista submissions must use Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (SP2). Due to late-breaking news about the availability of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Preinstallation Kit (OPK) for Windows Vista SP2, we are moving the effective date for this requirement to March 3, 2010. We encourage all partners to test with the latest service pack as soon as possible.

  Windows Logo Kit The Windows Logo Kit (WLK) contains everything needed to certify devices for Windows: Driver Test Manager (DTM), the required tests, and the documentation needed to set up DTM and execute the tests. To qualify for the Windows Logo Program, your product must pass testing with the WLK: For a device logo: Pass tests that verify device reliability and performance. For a driver quality signature: Meet all criteria for drivers, as defined in logo program requirements. For a system logo: All devices and drivers in the system must have device logos or driver quality signatures, and the system must pass an additional series of tests. Windows Logo Kit 1.4 Is Now Available Windows Logo Kit (WLK) 1.4 is now available for download on Microsoft Connect (log-in required). The primary purpose of this release is to provide content for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 logo requirements in addition to older operating systems. WLK Support from Microsoft Microsoft provides technical support for logo program tests and tools. You must resolve any test failures before making a test submission. Customers with Premier support contracts: Use your technical account manager (TAM) to open support incidents. Customers who do not have Premier support contracts: See Windows Logo Kit support.
