Rename Server/Database References Menu Item Is Disabled
Data > Refactor >> Rename Server/Database References... is disabled; although, the status bar says Ready and their are no other indicators any other work is being performed. I assume the model or schema is being updated, but UI provides no indication of it.

Rename Server/Database References... menu is enabled only when you click on the project node in solution explorer. If you use main menu (I assume you are), make sure the project node is selected in solution explorer. Another way to invoke this functionality is to use the context menu item when you right click on the project node.

Rename Server/Database References... menu is enabled only when you click on the project node in solution explorer. Another way to invoke this functionality is to use the context menu item when you right click on the project node.
