Documents that can't be stored
Documents that can't be stored
Is there a type of document that cannot be stored in Sharepoint?
Can you limit the types of documents that can be stored?
解答
- Hi,
Check for the blocked file types in the sharepoint Central Administration - Oprations- Security COnfiguration -Blocked File Types.
The files listed in the list will not be able to added/ uploaded to the sharepoint site under the server.

- By default the blocked file types for SharePoint are listed at:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262496.aspx
This can be configured using the instructions provided for by Ajith.
Additionally, it should be noted that there are file size limitations that can be set. By default I believe the max file size is 50 megabytes. This can be changed two different ways. One is through a stsadm command, the other is through the web interface.
For the stsadm command, please reference:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc261801.aspx
For the web application method, open up Central Admin. Navigate to Application Management. Under the "SharePoint Web Application Management" heading, select "Web application general settings". Within this page you can specify the web application you'd like to modify and the maximum upload file size.

(Unproposed as answer for the following reason)
It's only an answer if you tell him exactly how to do this. ("in the Central Administration" is not enough)
Also it's appreciated if you propose OTHER PEOPLE's answers and not your own.
