Print Restriction

Question

One of our client want to control printing right to certain group in sharepoint. For certain documents user can download but cannot print, only administrator group can print. I wonder is there anyway to implement that feature. I came cross with information policy feature describe in this link http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms520161.aspx , still don't get the idea to control printing after download. Please advice me, thanks in advance.

I think you are looking for Information Rights Management. IRM can be integrated with SP libraries.

Thanks Scot, I'll try to persuade user to use IRM. Actually users don't want to install anything on their machines. That's the problem for asking user to choose IRM. As far as I can understand all user need to install IRM client in their machine.

Is there anyway to change the document attribute to non-printable? I mean with VSTO or something like that.
