Just to avoid people drawing the wrong conclusions from the above text (as some people have!).

A reply to a post is not automatically an answer.

A reply to a post that completely solves the problems that were asked about in the initial post in the thread IS an answer.  That kind of post is what should be marked by the Original Poster as an answer. (=" the right reply that solved your problem.")
