    Hi Sudheer,

Are you selecting the option to view the generated Application Definition File? If this is the case it might be because you do not have an associated application for the XML extension (Internet Explorer will open it).

Please can you check if the Application Definition File is being generated at the location set?

    Best Regards,

    Phill

    Hi Phill,

Finally it is again throwing the same error but now what i have done is i have gone to the physical location where definition file is present. From there i have opened the ADF file through Internet Explorer. From the Central Administration also i have imported the definition.xml file. There i couldn't get any errors. But still i couldn't get that why it couldn't open in the XML Editor after clicking the play(green) button?

    Thanks & Regards,

    Sudheer

    Hi Sudheer,

Is it as soon as you press the 'play' button or is it after you click 'open in default viewer'?
