Hi,
I have visual studio 2010 premium installed and can not figure out how to get to the Create Project from Existing Code Wizard. It should be located in the menus File -> New -> Project From Existing Code. I have read that when C# is installed it isn't there but only in c++. I have both installed and would expect some way to pick my menus. Any ideas? Any other ideas how i can launch the "Create Project From Existing Code Wizard"?
I have also tried an empty solution and then adding existing files but that doesn't let me import in mass.
Below is Info about my installed version.
Thanks
Sean

Hi Deschutz,
According to your description, your issue is about Visual Studio Setup, therefore I’d like to move your thread to Visual Studio Setup and Installation for better support.
Thanks for your understanding.
Regrads,

Hi Deschutz,
Welcome to the MSDN forum.
Could you please try this
Open Visual Studio>> Tools>> Customize>>Commands
Choose File>> Add Commands>> Then select Files to see if you can find the option "Create Project from Existing Code "
Additionally, please have a look at this page
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/1yy56kkd and this page
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/754c3hy7(v=vs.100).aspx
See this note here:
"The options available in dialog boxes, and the names and locations of menu commands you see, might differ from what is described in Help depending on your active settings or edition. This Help page was written with the General Development settings in mind. To view or change your settings, choose Import and Export Settings on the Tools menu. For more information, see Working with Settings. "
I recommend you change the setting to "General Develop setting" to see if you can find that option.
Best regards,
