Migrating TFS from Current Machine to New Machine

We want to upgrade the existing VSTS Beta2 server and client machines to newer VSTS 2005 June CTP without losing the source code repository and its connections to the solutions. Does the installation will effect the functionalities of TFS.
We want to install a newer or the final build on the new server machine und upgrade the clients without losing the source code repository and its connections to the solutions. Is this possible, if it is what kind of measures we have take to proceed further. Can we able to migrate source code repository and other project data like work items etc from one machine to another.
Please Kindly provide us the solutions.

2005年6月30日 6:45 Your options are limited in Beta 2. Moving source code is discussed in this thread:
http://forums.microsoft.com/msdn/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=22639. Basically, it's fetch, then check in to the new server. You lose history.
For work items, you can get some of the data using Excel. You'll lose the history and any fields that don't round trip to Excel.
