问题 Event Description: TF30162: Task "LinkTypes" from Group "WorkItemTracking" failed when trying to create new Team Project

    I'm trying to create a new Team Project in one of our Collections and the create fails with the below log.  The failure occures regardless of the process template I use including the stock Scrum and CMMI templates.  I am able to create new projects in our other collections without any problems.  It seems as though the database for this collection has been corrupted given the duplicate key error.  Any ideas how to clean this up?

    Hello George,

    Thanks for your post.

    Based on the information you provided it seems that the Scrum and CMMI team project templates are not working in that team project collection.

    I think you need to re-upload these two team project templates to that team project. Please follow the steps below:

    1). Download the Scrum and CMMI template from the team project collection which can create team project.

    Right-click the team project collection in the Team Explorer and click Team Project Collection Settings->Process Template Manager->click the CMMI and Scrum process template->Download button->specify your local folder to store these two process templates.

    2). Upload these two process templates you downloaded just now to the team project collection which can’t create team project in.

    Right-click the team project collection in the Team Explorer and click Team Project Collection Settings->Process Template Manager->click the CMMI and Scrum process template->Upload button.

    Vicky,  I removed all of the templates from the collection and re-added them and we are still getting the same message.  Is there any tool that will validate the database for us?

    Hello, i've got the same problem. Since last week everything worked fine.

    The duplicate key value is

    "488bb442-0beb-4c1e-98b6-4eddc604bd9e\Project Collection Administrators, Jan 1 9999 12:00AM"

    as you can see below in the cutout of the logfile
